The Intention

Providing a space for contributors to share the music to which they hold a personal connection and exploring what that connection is. Writing about music can sometimes become too highbrow and exclusive. Here, we want people to celebrate their own personal experiences with music, whatever they may be, and ultimately explore the diversity of our musical experiences. Whether it’s a track that makes them dance, an album from their childhood or anything in between, we want to offer a platform for contributors to share music with meaning and to tell us what that meaning is. 

We are hugely appreciative of the efforts from contributors to date, and we look forward to sharing theirs and future contributions with you shortly. Vocalising these personal experiences requires vulnerability – and we are intent on protecting this, Afterglow Audio has zero tolerance for prejudice, judgement or hate of any kind.
